Adelaide ACA

If you’ve been thinking about purchasing a new or used vehicle in the city of Adelaide, buying the first car you view would be a fatal mistake. There are many shonky operators out there willing to sell you a lemon! How do you as a consumer differentiate between the good car dealers from the bad? Easy, check their status with the Adelaide Automotive Chambers Australia foundation.

The Adelaide ACA is an automobile organisations that welcomes members after their car yard has been scrutinised. We don’t just induct anyone either! In order to join, they must meet the following criteria before being considered for membership.

1) They must be reputable. Everyone makes mistakes but a willingness to fix them is what separates those with a good reputation from those with a bad one.

2) Been in business longer than 12 months. There are many car yards that are fly by night operations and leave the consumer holding the bag; unable to get a service or claim on their warranty. All members of the Adelaide ACA must be able to demonstrate sound business practices.

3) Hold a licence to sell vehicles. Unfortunately, many operators are selling new and used vehicles without a licence to do so. All members of Adelaide ACA are approved car dealers.

As you can see, buying or selling cars can be a complicated process and reducing consumer problems is the goal of the Adelaide ACA. So if you’re planning on buying a new or used vehicles or perhaps getting a car loan, only shop with those merchants who are members of our organisation.
